Who is Allowed to Book the Auditorium?

The auditorium is available for use by ventureLAB for company functions, events or programs. Members of ventureLAB - both companies and partners - are also able to book the space for a fee. External parties may request use of the space, but their proposed event must align with the Innovation Space's strategic priorities and they will be levied a higher booking fee than members.

Auditorium Capacity

The auditorium can be set-up in 3 formats:

• Theater-style: 150
• Classroom-style: 60
• Roundtable-style: 72

Booking Process

Anyone interested in booking the space must contact Innovation Space team as far in advance as possible of their planned event. In their email, they must specify the:

• title of the event,
• the number of attendees,
• the desired seating style, and
• at least two possible dates/times for the event.

The Manager will then coordinate with the auditorium manager and work out a plan with the party that made the booking request.

Setup Fee

A setup fee will apply if the booking holder requests a specific setup (theater, roundtable, or classroom) and the space is currently in a different arrangement. If the existing setup matches the requested setup, there will be no setup fee. 

If the booking holder wishes to save costs, they may opt to adapt their event to whichever setup is available on the day of their event.
